Music Director/Associate Director, Rocky Mountain Ballet Theatre, Missoula, MT. My duties as musical dir-ector of RMBT include accompanying classes; teaching classes in music history and theory as they relate to dancers; accompanying rehearsals; and performing with the company. I co-direct RMBT’s International Summer Workshops with guest artists such as Stanley Holden, Patricia Wilde, Fabrice Herrault, Kathryn Posin, John Pennington, Charlotte Richards and Terry Fox. Artistic director Charlene Campbell and I created a workshop for public schools based on the "Tales of Beatrix Potter" for which I wrote the lyrics, taught and performed.
I recently released a CD for ballet class, available here and from the Asgard catalogue. I also recorded a series of Tangos for per-formances in Innsbruck, St. Johan, and Vienna for Rocky Mountain Ballet Theatre’s performances in Austria with Tanzsommer. I toured with the company to Italy in 2004 and 2007 and in May of 2008 traveled with RMBT on its Chinese sponsored tour of Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, and Guilin China. During our two week tour I played company class at the National Ballet of China.
As Associate Director of Rocky Mountain Ballet Theatre
I serve on its board of directors, write grants, manage budgets and fundraise. I am also a part of the manage-ment of the school, its policies, schedule, tuition, & staff.
